People loading on the Ferry to cross to the Island




Old Town Mombasa w/Sister Byrd












Fort Jesus @ Old Town Mombasa. They call it that, because if you were to look down upon it, it's construction was in the form of a Cross. It was a Portugese fort protecting the port, it is from the 1600's.
















Hand carved wooden doors, amazing.




















This man is cooking, casava root like potatoe chips, very good, and he does cook potatoe's like chips. He had a slicer that was very handy for him.











This was the big fish we pulled up with the netting, it is called a Queen Fish then the one shown below, and it is called a Trevally! How is that for fishing in a paddle boat and without any fishing gear!!!

This is the one I fileted and we ate, very good. I hope we can get some more.
